| Peter McAlister A Falkirk bairn who has moved steadily West in search of better sailing he lives on his boat at Bowling. Traditional music and poetry was always a part of his early family life, all his uncles being great singers. He became involved with Falkirk folk club when it started up in the early sixties and has been hooked on traditional and "folk" music ever since. Used to play around the folk circuit in Central Scotland as a small time guest artiste. With other musicians helped to set up the Kincardine Folk Club in the Auld Hoose in the 70's. His interest in traditional music was rekindled when he met the other members of the band. Boat and sailing daft he works as an Architect in Glasgow in a large Scottish Architectural practice. |
